Mediation for families in Brent
Brent is the most religiously diverse borough in England – Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Jewish families side by side in Wembley, Willesden, Kingsbury and Harlesden – and the couples we see here often have a religious marriage, a civil marriage and family on two continents to think about. A mediator who takes that seriously, and stays neutral, is what most of them are looking for.
Brent applications go to the West London Family Court in Feltham, a long journey from Wembley and one of the busiest courts in the country. It expects a MIAM first. We hold them online within days, in English, Hindi, Bengali or Portuguese, and see couples in person in Brent by appointment, in a private, neutral room. Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Arabic and Somali can be arranged with an interpreter.

Which court hears your case depends on where the children live, and the court confirms it when you apply. Before a C100 for children or a Form A for finances it expects a MIAM first, and our certificate is accepted at every family court in England and Wales. If proceedings have already started, mediation can run alongside them.
