Mediation for families in Leeds
The usual West Yorkshire separation does not fit neatly in one postcode: one of you in Leeds, the other in Bradford or Wakefield, the children at school somewhere in between. Travelling to a mediator's office for each session is a day of annual leave for one of you. Online mediation removes that – you each join from home, at a time that works around shifts and the school run.
If you are heading to court, the family court in Leeds is at Leeds Combined Court Centre on Oxford Row, in the city centre. It will ask whether you have attended a MIAM before a C100 or Form A. We hold MIAMs online, usually within a few days, and the certificate is valid at any family court in England and Wales – including the one your own case is eventually sent to.

Which court hears your case depends on where the children live, and the court confirms it when you apply. Before a C100 for children or a Form A for finances it expects a MIAM first, and our certificate is accepted at every family court in England and Wales. If proceedings have already started, mediation can run alongside them.
