Mediation for families in Manchester

Greater Manchester is ten boroughs and a lot of commuting, and a separation often splits a family across them. Online mediation sidesteps that: you join from home, at a time that suits you, and nobody has to cross the city for an appointment.

Family applications from Manchester are heard at the Manchester Civil Justice Centre on Bridge Street West, which expects a MIAM first. We hold MIAMs online within days and issue the certificate. It is accepted there, and at every other family court in England and Wales, if your case ends up being listed elsewhere.

Which court hears your case depends on where the children live, and the court confirms it when you apply. Before a C100 for children or a Form A for finances it expects a MIAM first, and our certificate is accepted at every family court in England and Wales. If proceedings have already started, mediation can run alongside them.
