Mediation for families in the Midlands
The Midlands has some of the busiest family courts in the country – Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham and Coventry – and some of the longest waits for a first hearing. It also has, in Birmingham and Leicester, two of the largest South Asian communities in Britain, and a great many couples who want a mediator who understands a religious marriage, an extended household and a family business, and can work in Hindi or Bengali or through an Urdu, Punjabi or Gujarati interpreter.
We mediate for Midlands families online, wherever you are between Stoke and Northampton. Most people choose an online MIAM because it can be held within days, at a time that suits them, from home. Joint sessions are the same – usually two to four of them, online, with in-person appointments by arrangement. The certificate we issue is accepted at every Midlands family court.
The family court for the Midlands
Family applications from the Midlands go to the family court nearest to you – Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham or Coventry. Before a C100 for children or a Form A for finances it expects a MIAM first, and our certificate is accepted at every family court in England and Wales.
