Mediation for families in Newham
Newham has the youngest population in London and more languages spoken than any other borough. Separations here often involve a private tenancy rather than a mortgage, a parent working shifts at the Excel or the airport, and relatives abroad who expect to be told what has been decided. We mediate in English, Bengali and Hindi in house and arrange interpreters for Urdu, Punjabi, Lithuanian, Romanian and others.
Newham’s family cases are heard at the East London Family Court, which is a short DLR ride from Canning Town – and which will ask whether you attended a MIAM. We hold MIAMs online within days, and meet people in person in Newham by appointment, in a private, neutral room.

Which court hears your case depends on where the children live, and the court confirms it when you apply. Before a C100 for children or a Form A for finances it expects a MIAM first, and our certificate is accepted at every family court in England and Wales. If proceedings have already started, mediation can run alongside them.
