Mediation for every community
Tap any paragraph to hear it from there.
Family mediation only works when both people can say what they mean. Talking about your children or your finances in a second language, at the hardest point in your life, is harder than it sounds – people leave things out because the words are not there. Where we can take that obstacle away, we do.
Mediation here is conducted in English, Bengali and Hindi directly by the mediator, and Portuguese is available in house. For other languages, including Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic and Somali, we can arrange a professional interpreter for your sessions; interpreters carry an additional cost, which we will confirm with you before anything is booked. Please tell us which language you need when you first get in touch, so an interpreter can be booked before your MIAM.
We work with families from every community, culture and faith, and we respect the values that matter to you. Choose your language below to read or listen to our key pages before deciding anything.

FMC leaflets in other languages
These leaflets are produced and authorised by the Family Mediation Council (FMC), the body that regulates family mediators in England and Wales. Its leaflet What is Family Mediation? is published in eight languages and explains what a mediator does, how sessions work and where the legal process fits.
